The compact design of this new brake pipe flare tool means it is particularly suitable for in-car use, making it extremely convenient and a real time saver. Under a wheel arch or even under the car, its small size, lightweight and robust construction make flaring brake pipes an easy task even when access is difficult.

The kit includes punch dies for the two most common brake tube sizes: 8000 and sour" diameter and can produce double flares.

Easy to use, the device is handheld and the flare type is marked on the cast body. A tube stop plug is provided and the brake tube is inserted until it can go no further; this determines the correct length of tube introduced into the hole and ensures a perfectly formed flare. The flare is completed by simply turning the hole into the cast body with a socket or wrench and thus compressing the tube material. Suitable for brass, copper, nickel and steel brake tubes.
