Preparation
Ensure the Mega JS-2500 is fully charged before use.
Turn off the vehicle and locate the battery terminals.
Connect the Clamps
Connect the red clamp to the positive terminal (+).
Connect the black clamp to the negative terminal (−) or a grounded metal part.
Start the Engine
Turn on the power switch on the jump starter.
Attempt to start the vehicle for 5–10 seconds. If it doesn’t start, wait 1 minute before retrying.
Disconnect the Device
Once the engine starts, immediately disconnect the black clamp first, then the red.
Recharge the device after each use.
🔋 After Every Use: Recharge after each jump to maintain peak performance.
🔌 Monthly Maintenance: If unused, recharge at least once every month to preserve battery life.
Once your engine is running:
Disconnect the jump starter right away to avoid internal damage.
Leaving it connected may cause overvoltage backflow from the car alternator, potentially damaging the device.
Best Practices:
Remove the black (−) clamp first, then the red (+).
Always turn off the device when done.
➡ Protect your investment with this simple habit.
Do Not Exceed Current Limit:
Do not use on vehicles requiring more than 1000A peak current.
Avoid Deep Discharge:
Leaving the device uncharged for long periods shortens battery lifespan.
Correct Polarity is Crucial:
Always connect red to (+) and black to (−) to avoid damaging the unit.
Keep Away from Moisture:
Do not use the device in wet or damp environments.
