GM E90/T93 Upgrade Kit Overview

The GM E90/T93 Upgrade Kit is designed for 2019–2022 GM vehicles equipped with the E90 ECM and T93 TCM. This kit allows tuners and DIY enthusiasts to upgrade the E90 ECM directly in their garage or workshop without removing the controller from the vehicle. The process is fast, safe, and eliminates the risks associated with ECM removal, reinstallation, or solder‑based repair methods.

With this upgrade kit, users gain full tuning access through HP Tuners’ VCM Suite, enabling complete control over engine performance on supported GM vehicles. The kit is ideal for Silverado, Sierra, Camaro, and other GM platforms equipped with the E90 ECM. As of March 17th, 2026, the T93 TCM no longer requires an upgrade—users can simply license and tune the T93 directly through the OBDII port.

Credit Requirement

To complete the upgrade and write your new tune file, you must purchase 150 HP Tuners credits from us. Credits are not included in this kit and must be purchased separately before licensing the vehicle.
