Alientech DynoDrive is an advanced feature for the Alientech Suite and KESS3 devices, enabling vehicle performance testing on the road using data collected from the OBD diagnostic port and an integrated GPS module.

DynoDrive calculates and verifies vehicle torque and power in real-time, allowing tuners to replace or supplement traditional dyno testing. Data is exportable, repeatable, and shareable in visual and PDF formats — ideal for reporting and comparisons.

Note: DynoDrive does not replace traditional dynamometers but offers a complementary testing option. Result accuracy depends on driver skill and controlled test conditions.

Activation & Setup

DynoDrive can be purchased and activated directly from the Alientech Suite. Simply:

1. Select the vehicle for testing
2. Input key parameters (mass, fuel, gear, RPM)
3. Launch and perform the test

All operations should be conducted in a safe, controlled environment (e.g., closed circuit or private road).

Test Accuracy & Repeatability

The performance calculation is based on combined OBD and GPS data — including acceleration and deceleration phases. This ensures precise power dissipation measurements and improved result accuracy.

Repeating tests under the same conditions eliminates environmental noise (e.g., temperature), ensuring results are based solely on the vehicle and tuning applied.

Data Export & Customer Reporting

DynoDrive generates a complete performance report, including:

• Numerical power & torque values
• Overlayed Cartesian curves
• Color-coded, exportable .PDF files

These can be easily shared with customers to verify and explain performance upgrades.
