Tips for Audi A6 C5 Key Matching Process:

1. Use a Megamos ID 48 key for matching. Xhorse super chips are not supported. Generated IMMO data must be written back to the dashboard, followed by learning procedures.

2. Always note the PIN code after reading data — it’s needed during the key matching process. The ignition signal must be clear; otherwise, matching may fail. Follow on-screen instructions carefully, including required waiting times.

Intelligent IMMO System Emergency Start Area Detection:

When pressing the vehicle’s start button, bring the key identifier close to specific areas. If the light on the key identifier flashes or stays on, that area is the vehicle’s key emergency start sensing zone. If the key battery is dead, placing it in this area allows the vehicle to start.

Car IMMO Start & Key Chip Detection:

Test Result Interpretation:

• The light flashes briefly and turns off → IMMO system and key chip are working properly.
• The light flashes continuously → Chip and IMMO system do not match; key needs reprogramming.
• No light activity → IMMO system fault detected; system inspection required.
